He reported to the Caps, but his deal doesn't kick in until next season. Does that mean he isn't eligible to play?

CapFriendly made a mistake, the original tweet says 2 year ELC, beginning THIS season. He could play tomorrow as long as someone tells Trotz he is 34 years old
