      First off, you got a pick from Carolina but didn't use it smile Get Veleno @ 11

      Second, EEEEEEVEN without JT, I think you're on to something. You could leave Drouin @ Center and sign JVR @ 7x7 and still have a much better lineup next year. Then you would have the likes of Veleno or Poehling coming up and hopefully one day, move into a #1 center role and be good at it.

      But if JT decides he's in for the challenge, then gitty up

      I'm thinking the same way! Really like the trade. Would take Velano with CAR pick, and properly draft the upcoming prospects as responsible centres that can slot in on the wing (instead of the total opposite which is happening now).

      Habs could rebound nicely if things played out this way

      I would also switch out Mete for Reilly so that Mete can improve in Laval

      Thanks for the feedback. i think the trade fills both of the organizations needs. veleno would be great at 11, but i dont know if he can be a full time nhler as soon as next season. having JT makes the team incredibly dangerous.
