Hutton's going to get more money. He's probably the best goalie in the open market in offseason.

He is 32, never played more than 40 games, 1 really good season in just 32 games on a great defensive team, averaged 27 starts in his last 5 years..... Anyone breaking the bank for an overage backup with those credentials would be making big mistake. I would stick to under 2m per season on a 3 year deal. Might do more on a 1 or 2 year and keep looking for a starter as I don't think he is the answer at his age.

Could see JVR being targeted. Burke was in TOR to make that JVR for Schenn "hockey trade" to acquire JVR from PHI.

I think Perron is very good, but that's too expensive. Would rather give Foo or Mangiapane or Ferland a chance at the 3rd line.

Also think Grabner will get overpaid. Flames seem like a possible destination, so hopefully it's not over $3M/year. Could easily see $3.5M if Brouwer's contract is moved.
