Sens only have 1 draft pick this year in the first 3 rounds so I’m guessing picks are more important than prospects? Ryan at 7.5 (plus length of his contract) is equal to Staal at 5.5 for dump purposes. Vladdy is a nice cost controlled asset for a budget team

What the.....??? If you were the Sens would you take that trade? That is no good. A pretty good forward prospect, a LATE 1st rd and 2 2nd's? Thats like a Dion Phaneuf trade right there.

No, this is not a fair deal! You're essentially swapping 2 bad contracts, Namestnikov and trading three 2nds (one late 1st) for Karlsson.

This is true, but Marc Bergevin also said "I'm not trading P.K. Subban" like, 3 months before trading P.K. Subban.
