Interesting thought on the Gagner trade. That actually makes some semblance of sense to me.

Reilly will get 925,000. No way he takes less. Saad will not bridge at 3.5. 4.5 MAYBE.

Why would we sign Rundblad, who has no real NHL future - instead of bringing up Paliotta or Pokka?

Tyler Johnson and Palat bridged for 3.5M. I wouldn't put it out of the realm Saad wants to help the team out. It wouldn't let me put Reilly at 925k. Rundblad just because Paliotta has no real professional experience and could use AHL time. Pokka and Rundblad are interchangeable. I don't think it changes the composition of the team too much. Just wanted to see how the $ would work.

if saad were to sign this kind of bridge deal it would be huge for the hawks. I dont think it is out of the realm of possibility either as he wants to stay in chicago and have another really strong team
