Regarding the Mrazek signing, I believe if we want to trade and sign him as an RFA then the qualifying offer (QO) has to be at least $4M. I don’t think philly would do that QO, thus making him a UFA on July 1st and we could sign him then.

Also, I doubt sens can sign stone for just $5.5M, but that would be amazing if they did.

If we could get Mrazek on RFA you may be able to get him for less salary than 4 M, he didn't have a great season and arbitration likely wouldn't be in his best interests. The flyers might do the trade and get something back for him rather than lose him for nothing on July 1st.

I think Stone is worth 6 years 6 mil a season but he may sign for 5.5 mil to stay long term.

I think you misunderstand how RFAs and arbitration work's. Unless I'm mistaken, if he doesn't receive a qualifying offer (100% of he last year's salary) then he automatically becomes an UFA. I think you might here be able to offer him lower than the QO, but then there is no arbitration and he'll become a UFA if he doesn't sign. Might as well wait until he becomes a UFA from Philly rather than trade for him.
