Don’t think Polak would have gotten a 6th.

I don’t care what team it is. Polak is not worth a 6th.

Yeah I can understand that. A lot of us were hoping we’d get you guys instead of Boston in the first round tho, I’m just saying if we beat Boston don’t go celebrating too hard

Even if they lose game 7 I’m very happy they didn’t sell at the deadline. Would have felt that way had they lost in 4.

Sometimes there’s more to be gained from showing a young team you believe in them then by trading for a pile of draft picks who may or may not ever make the nhl.

Don’t let tomorrow's results cloud what is gained from learning to be a playoff hardened squad.

I never suggested that they shud have done this, I’m quite happy with what they did but it comes with expections and I wouldn’t be satisfied if they got swept. I’m just pointing out how expensive this experience really is. (Which really makes it that much more of a shame that we have the hardest road to the finals of any team.)

True...would have been very disappointing to lose in 4 or 5 games..but I try and look at it from the other persepective. If they had of sold their UFA's off at the deadline and then not made it past the first round...we'd all be angry that they didn't put the most competitive squad available to them.
