As a Buffalo fan, I would do that in a heartbeat if Okposo agreed to be traded.

I'm getting a 24 year old third line center, and a good LHD who needs to be healthy, but if he is, it's a huge boost for me for Okposo and Bogosian. And I get out from under their contracts.
|Okposo is still good, but he would never agree to be dealt to Edmonton. Sekera also has a NMC and may not agree to return to Buffalo, especially with te way the team is now.

Bogosian is also good when healthy, but he never is. He's good for 50 games TOPS.

I wouldn't bother with this trade at all. Fleece Edmonton. I think chiapet would do this though lol

If everything worked out perfect, then IMO you are correct, considering age, top end expectations etc.

On the other hand, I guess it all depends on time frame, if EDM is in the win now, then a healthy Bogosian and Okposo fill in two of EDM big needs a RW and RHD. Bogosian's last two years with WIN only Buff had more ice than Bogosian. Okposo (15,29,44) was hurt at the beginning of the season and still out performed Strome (13,21,34) .

Very well done!
ED loses nothing but bad contract&mediocre player.
Okposo needs 2 be with McJesus though, Drais at least.
Bogosian may well be a good overall #4, if healthy.

This is what I thought. Edm tries to win now sending a #5 lhd and 3rd c for a 2nd Rw and #4 rhd. It fills their needs.

It should fit buffalo as well with them getting a better dman who’d play in the top four for them and a younger forward at half the hit allowing for a ufa signing (jvr?).

Actually for Buffalo, if he can return to his '16-'17 performance level, he would be Buffalo's #1 LHD playing along side of Ristolainen.
