Description

I figured with the goaltending troubles the Cannucks had last year they could use a decent goaltender to help out Markstrom and Nillsson. If Demko isn’t ready than it makes a lot of sense to add Pavs and trade away Markstrom or Nillsson. I know Pavelec isn’t a great goalie but he came back last season very well with the Rangers. Relieved Lundqvist in some bad team games and did very well. I know any Cannucks fan wouldn’t want to draft even lower but more defenseman are projected around 7-10 (Bouchard, Dobson, Hughes) while what the Rangers need (a gifted goal scorer, Wahlstrom) is getting picked earlier. I feel like with all the power they have up front, they could use a skilled defenseman. Simple idea, both teams would live if this didnt happen but it would be cool to see this work somehow

Pavelec wouldn't help. He's garbage!... LoL.. Maybe he'll help them stay in the basement

Couple of problems I have with this. Pavelec stunk this year. Why would the Canucks want him? Markstrom, Nilsson and Demko are all better. And why would we trade that conditional 2nd that could possibly turn into a first with said trash goalie to move up two spots? Unless a stud like Bobqvist falls, no thanks.
