Interesting idea, but i think the Hawks would ask one of our second and i dont know how keen they will be to get an injury riddle Shaw.

Didnt know how to handle the minor details of the trade but maybe send their 2nd rd pick back? About Shaw, if they really wanted MTL could trade Lekhonen or Byron and move Duclair to the right side which would cancel out the Rousell signing.

I like the Idea - but I think MTL would trade Patch for a 1st and a blue chip prospect... not an established player in Anisimov.

Agree, but they have alot of picks so myabe a 2nd line center and a top 10 pick is suffeicient and fills one of the top 2 center holes

While I know CHI wouldn't do it for many reason, I think MTL would require Nick Schmaltz to be in this trade.

So Schmaltz + 1st... and lets say maybe a cap dump for Patch + (shaw if the cap works)

i would do this trade if instead of that 4th round coming to the hawks, they retain some of shaw's contract and the hawks add a 4th going to montreal or something. i wouldn't mind shaw at around 2.5m or so for a 3C
