But thats in comparison to point meanwhile callahan has negative value and compared to the rest of the league hertl isnt scraps

You're delusional if you think this trade would ever happen. You simply don't have the assets, besides multiple first round picks, to acquire Point.

That's a lot of cap space for minimal return on an aging vet who had less than 20 points this year. Sharks are going to want speed and youth. Like every other team.

We also need to resign Couture soon.

We can flip him for a mid round pick after 1 year the idea is just to grab point

I wouldn't mind Point, but I doubt that's a good deal to Yzerman. Though, Hertl has been insane with his puck protection this season.
