Looks okay for the preds. Saros and Grubauer both deserve chances to start somewhere next year. Lights out stats, but building endurance is tough. Is Elliot going to be able to split the slate 42/40 next year and keep Nashville in the mix?

Nah. Grubauer and Saros had stats as good as a lot of starters this year. And behind Nashville's defense, with a good 1B to split the slate? Nashville's no worse off than before, but they're younger and, here, the defense is even better.

Well maybe Neuvirth would be better for that.
If Rinne were to get traded, it has to be to either Philly or Isles (if jt stays). other than those two there really isnt a fit anywhere else. Maybe Carolina?
Let me this tho: i have 0 trust in Elliott. Ever since leaving Saint-Louis things have gone bad for him.

Worrying about whether goalie stats are the products of the defensemen who play in front of them, while always reasonable to a point, is not exaclty how to trade Rinne for Sanheim. laugh

doesn't mean he is as elite as rinne usually is and you havn't won with rinne at his best. So i don't understand how you can come up with an assumption that the predators will magically win with Saros as their starter. I'm sorry bud im not seeing it.
