Why does everyone want to trade Zacha? In my opinion he is a good 2nd or 3rd line center who can also play on the wing. He is young and has sow that he has potential but if we trade him we will never get to see what he might become. He could become like ROR and be a great two way player.

Why would you trade your goalie that got you into the playoffs for a left-handed defenseman when there are several good left-handed D in free agency?

I really like Pavel, I do. But, O'Reilly has something needed badly in Jersey. Face off wins. He is amazing. I'm not say Zacha can't be amazing eventually. He has great potential to be that great two way center we know he can be.

really don't understand the hate Zacha and Johansson get from so many people. Hischier did a phenomenal job as 1st line center all year long as an 18 year old kid, what makes 19 years any different.

It's not hate. If we keep Zacha I'm totally ok with it. I think people in general get irratated at the fact of when he was drafted and who was still available (Provorov,McAvoy, Werenski). Some feel his development has stalled. I personally had them getting Provorov

i agree. There was much better options on the table but we can't fault the player for that. Id rather stick with him at a cheap price and see if he can develop. yeah reilly brings the need of face-off wins but at 7 mil per year on a long contract? I don't want that imo. Hischier did just fine as 1st L C and i think he should stay there. For the price we have to pay i just don't know if its necessary boss
