The More I think The More I Want Bouchard

Created by: DirtyDangles

Description
DET wants to build through the draft, what better way than 2 top 14 picks?

Dallas moves down a few spots to shed Spezza's contract

Bouchard is probably the most NHL ready D man besides Dahlin. He is a big body, smooth skater and is a really good puck mover. He played an absolute ton of minutes for the Knights this year so I think he could easily handle a full season without wearing down.

Defense is pretty strong with Bernhardt, Hogberg, and Friedman coming through the ranks...Not sure I'd pass on Tkachuk, Wahlstrom, or Kotkaniemi if we trade up

The 3 that you named are long shots to make it to the show. Bouchard is immediately ready.

I don't think he'd get a shot anyway next year unless they traded Gudas, Mac or Haag. They'd probably risk Morin and Haag not re-signing if they got looked over by another rookie. And Hak hates rookies

Bouchard is going to be a stud. Could you imagine a Provy, Ghost, Sanheim and Bouchard top 4?

If the Flyers were able to draft Bouchard, I doubt he'd be playing in the NHL next season. Hexy would probably pick Myers first since he's more "seasoned".
