Is he really that over rated? 6x 30+ goal seasons before the age of 29. not all that bad.
Since his first full season (2011) he is currently 9th in goals scored since then. 5th in EVG in that span.

I'm not saying that the trade proposed is close, but I think he has value. If you look at the company he is in from 2011, he is scoring at the same rate as Kessel, Kane, Marchand, and Benn at half the cap cost. yes he is due for a raise the following season but he is no the less a fantastic goal scorer if anything.

Yes he is a good goal Scorer . But what happens if he doesn't return to that form?.. Now that's a serious bet. Considering the talent you're giving away on the hopes he can rekindle that scoring touch.

ya you never know. I think with Canadiens, everything possible went wrong. If I was dallas, i wouldn't make the trade, but as a Hab fan, I wouldn't be shocked if he gets traded somewhere for half his value and scores 40 when he gets to play with an actual Center, not Someone named David Deharnouis or Danualt or Tomas Pleckanec

honestly the weirdest trade every. why trade a Rh #1 Dman for another RH#1 Dman? haha. oh well. I like shea Webers game, hopefully that old body holds together for a while. but i think Subban got traded because of off ice issues within the room. I have been told by guys who played with him in MTL and on their farm team back in the day, that he is widely hated/disliked in the room...even referring to him as "Monday", because everyone hates Mondays haha.

It seemed to me that most of the players like Hall, but management and coaches didn't like his perceived attitude when things went wrong(slamming sticks, hands in the air, just seemed mad). I liked that, showed me everytime I went to a game, he wanted to win.
Also doesnt help that Chai isn't even qualified to run a fantasy Hockey team.

Not saying this deal is fair because it isn't but:

Why is fair to question "will Pacioretty find is form?" but Its a forgone conclusion that Heiskanen will be a superstar? Heiskanen may end up being just like many other top 3 picks. Dylan Strome, Erik Gudbransen, Bogosian, etc. Who'd be laughing then?

I get it, this trade based off last year isn't fair as Pacioretty had a bad year and his vaue is at an all time low but everyone assumes prospects will all hit their highest potential and be superstars too. Heiskanen could end up being a decent but still not as good as Pacioretty, type player. That's isn't an impossible scenario.
