If it’s lottery protected I am not making this deal. Parayko is to vital to the Blues for the pick to be lottery protected

So why downgrade the D for pick which will only push back the year of contention? Makes no sense, now if you start with the idea of Drai and Parayko we could get something worked out

Wel, the purpose of the post was in response to two other posts which were sending an LHD and the 10OA to STL for Parayko.

I was putting this trade up after stating that STL has no RHD depth, so if EDM wanted Parayko an RHD would have to come back.

Does it make sense? No - but if something like this did happen you’d have to think the 10OA would go as the main piece in a package for a guy like Stone from Ott.

Was not implying STL should downgrade for a pick, in other words.
