Jumbo, who's had two major injuries in two playoffs in a row makes no sense in a speedy team, and even less does Radko "trashcan" Gudas in exchange for a backup goalie, mid-six forward and a mid-round pick?

Not sure you know what your talking about Thornton would work well on a 1 Ye deal and Gudas is a better version of Polak

Yeah, ok. Jumbo had a torn MCL and ACL this year and last year and I'll guarantee you he's not gonna recover 100%. Gudas might be better than Polak, but you're literally insane if you think he's worth one of the Leafs' best PK'ers who is playing middle-6, a pick and a backup. He's just not worth that.

why gudas? just because he is a RHD, there is an assumption that he is good. He's not. To trade a starting winger and probably a back up goalie, a big overpayment.
