The cap will increase the next offseason and Rinne if he doesn't retire will be coming in at a lesser cap hit
3-4 mill for Fiala and 5+ for Ellis.Luckily for NSH they have Fabbro who may allow them to move on from Ellis once he becomes a UFA

You’ll also need to make sure you have between 5-6 million for Josi in two years.....

Josi would be the priority for sure, I’m sure they cut ties with Ellis if need be

There’s still 2.5 mill of space for Nashville they can easily get him at 10.5

And leave them with close to $0 dollars for the whole season. Poile wouldn't detriment his club like that.
