I like all these moves. I would challenge that Forsbacka-Karlsson would be the 3rd line C over Frederic.

I wouldn't. JFK is a year older and has spent a year at the AHL level already. Plus he came from a more prestigious D-1 program. It wouldn't be a good sign for JFK if Frederic beat him out for a spot this offseason.

I'm pretty sure the person you quoted is saying that JFK will be the 3LC over Frederic. On your comment, it wouldn't be a bad sign either if JFK was beaten out by Frederic. Players develop at different rates. Maybe Frederic is just more NHL ready, despite being younger. They're both young and lets not act like JFK and his 58 AHL games is a lot more experience.

You're right, I did misread that. And sorry I have to disagree on the JFK vs Frederic thing. Both of these guys were drafted to be centers in this league, but given JFK's head start in the organization (and his 58 AHL games is quite a bit of experience - it's basically a full season in the pros, which did wonders for players like DeBrusk and Heinen), and the ages of both Krejci and Bergeron, whoever doesn't claim the 3C position likely won't have the opportunity to vie for a C position for several more years. I suppose you could put one of them at the wing, but the Bruins have not had great success forcing a natural center into a wing position as of late.
