Why would you trade your franchise #1 center? You do not need an elite defense to win a cup, but you do need an elite #1c. Look at pittsburghs last 2 cups. Average at best defenders.

But why tho then u have J.T. Matthews Nylander Kadri Marner Bozak(if he comes back)+ who can all play that position with no #1 D they don’t grow on trees

Thats a scary center core and top 6. Save the bozak money on a solid D man. Thats what I would do. Hard to match up with 3 scoring lines with great speed like those 3 lines
