That's complete non-sence... willing to add B prospect or change the pick for a higher 2nd rounder. I didn't asked for Monahan ... Sticking Out Tongue

Ranked 27 th in points by defenceman in last 5 years . Look at the names above him. People under value his talent. Cheap contact also (only 2 years but still)

I like a hard bargain, but never like to feel you're being taken for a fool. Galchenyuk has underachieved in Montreal due to horrible coaching. The team that takes him on and turns him loose will be very happy they did so.

Come on guys. As a Habs fan even I know this wouldn't fly.

Look at some comparables please:

Sami Vatanen deal
Travis Hamonic deal (Brodie is better than Hamonic)

Sherbak who is far from a top prospect and a late late 2nd isn't going to cut it.

Brodie for Galchenyuk, plus a B prospect thrown in is a more realistic deal. Scherbak is 22 now and hasn't done anything to show that he's a high end prospect.
