One that really pisses me off right now is the 2010 draft. Wings draft Riley Sheahan 21st overall. Evgeny Kuznetsov goes 26th overall to Washington. And that's just one example from 9 drafts where they missed big time.

You are correct, however Detroit has had playoff team and good ones at that for many years since 05. Lots of fan bases would love to have the problem Detroit is having now after several consecutive playoff appearances

True but the 2008 cup was largely from drafting well before 2005. Since then zero cups. And the point being that we are putting this rebuild in the hands of Ken Holland who I have zero faith in.

Same can said by EVERY team..u sound like a spoiled little kid gmhockey.. Do some real research & invest some time in the team ..gain some hockey knowledge as to what was going on with the team at every level ..the what,when & why's they made moves they did ...the rebuild didn't even start til 2014-15 before then it was win now mode trading away picks.. To make a run for guys like z & pav ..maybe if you paid attention to the details ..you can stop whining like a child & understand what is really going on with the team ..as a wings fan..you're an embarrassment (if u really are a rw fan- u don't have to think KH is above mistakes ..he's made them..just like every other GM) but knowing why & his thought process inner working of ownership etc..you could be more constructive than the simple minded KH sucks stuff u spew out acting like u know hockey.. Isles have done a much worse job. Barzal and Beauvillier are the best so far.

That Detroit isnt as bad as other teams. They’ve consistently had late firsts while the Isles botch top 10 picks. (Nino, Reinhart, Dalle Colle, etc)

They still made bad picks and passed on great players.

A lot of teams passed on great players. Thats the beauty of drafting.

And those teams lose most of the time. It's not an excuse to say it's ok he drafted poor for 10 years because other teams did too. The teams that draft well win.

Im not saying its ok, Im trying to say that its not only the Wings who screwed up and it could be much worse.

He actually looked good in the pre season and had another good year in junior

I guess I don’t know enough to judge him, I just feel like I haven’t heard about him all year. Cholowski was a bad one though.
