Carolina would be offended at that offer. Nyquist will get you more and I doubt Vegas wants to take on a bad contract especially if theyre going all in.

Nyquist would easily return at least a late 1st or 2 2nds, Not nearly enough going to Carolina the #6 pick would need to be included. McIlrath is meh no way Carolina has interest in him. Plus other meh picks. Need at least Detroit's #6 pick and Vegas #30 or #31 pick and probably AA for Carolina to bite.

Vegas need some prospects long term and a high second round pick would be tempting. Ericsson would be useful to them too. I’m not convinced Nyquist could get a 1st, not exactly prolific and who knows what happens when he’s not next to Z, just look at Tatar... I would throw AA into the CAR trade. Does look a bit weak in hindsight. Not convinced AA is going to make it anyway.

No, look who vegas drafted, they have lots of high end prospects, cap is so important, no one wants ericsson. leafs certainly don't need a winger, maybe some other team
