1) Not nearly enough for Matthew. Likely going to cost Domi + 2019 1st to even get the conversation started and even then, Calgary probably doesn't do that deal.
2) I like Hanifin, still think they should've drafted him in 2015 but oh well, but he isn't exactly what the Coyotes need in terms of defensive help. He's another LHD, which, the Coyotes have a crap load of both in the NHL) (OEL, Hjalmarsson, Goligoski, Chychrun) and in their prospect pool (Dineen, POJ, Capiobianco). Also, don't think Carolina will just take a boat load of picks as they too are looking to contend sooner rather then later so they'll probably want back NHL ready talent if we do target him.
3) Domi and Connauton will both cost more then what they were given (yes Domi had a couple down years but he was having historically bad shooting percentages so it's not unreasonable to believe that he'll revert to his normal self next year. A bridge deal around 3x3/3.5 is fairly reasonable for his type of player).

Not a terrible construction, Bolland should be LTIR'd but that's not really a huge issue. If the Coyotes do look at trading for a top pairing defenseman, I wouldn't be surprised if Dougie Hamilton is one of the first names you see that pops up.
