Agreed, I'd have them pick up Dobson (or Boqvist), he fits the bigger Dmen that they go for but should have the skill to play up with OEL eventually. They just need to move out the less desirable contracts back their and by then their prospects will be ready to take over. The left side can carry the D with PO Joseph coming up as well

Just curious why'd you trade for Ikonen?

They got a lot of D prospects and need some forward prospects that can step in. I dont see a spot where Mayo can step in, without injury. I feel that Ikonen holds a similar value and Washington may have a space for Mayo to compete for if Carlson walks (not replace Carlson himself but move into the NHL roster) and/or they continue to groom him to take over for Niskanen

Washington has a good group of D prospects as well, both in quality and quantity compared to our forward prospects, and we need more winger prospects then anything, so I don't really see how Mayo could help us. Also Ikonen just signed with us.

not with a right shot, but its also not a big deal if the Caps dont want it, I can find a deal elsewhere

Would rather them take Bouchard as he doesn't have very many flaws to his game and it will transition well to the NHL.
Also, Kesler is probably not going to be LTIR'd this up coming season so that'd just be a hefty contract for Arizona to swallow. They have a fairly strict internal cap so the chances of them spending over $70 million for contracts is very little. Overall, the Anaheim trade doesn't really help the team a whole lot, Arizona is taking on some really bad contracts and while they get a nice prospect in Steel, I just don't think they can do it.
As for the O'Reilly trade, I don't think the Coyotes will be in on him. I think they'd rather wait it out another year and see what Strome has in the tank rather then just sell him off when he has little to no value.
Your lines are a little out of whack as well. Dvorak will be playing center next year as he's been a lonely bright spot for the center position over the past two years.

Kesler was rumored to be taking the season off to fix his hip w/o surgery. With them getting ROR they could afford putting Dvorak at LW, but they could also slide him over Stepan down and Merkley to the LW or Versteeg to LW and Merkley to RW. Their center core is vastly improved either way
