Bring in the hometown kid in Trocheck which I like, but a bit of a overload at center, not sure how'd he play on the wing.

Very true howevery I think Trocheck can play on the wing and I’m really hoping we sign Ryan this offseason to play wing/ 5th center and PK specialist.

This is too much for Kessel and besides I don't think that Florida will trade Trochek for anybody. I would replace Trochek with Bjugstad that would be closer to Kessel's actual value. And before you say anything: I'm not ripping on Kessel just being realistic about the value of an infamous 30 year old winger who makes 6.8 million dollars and gets 65% of his starts in the offensive zone. Oh and he plays with Crosby and Malkin.

I still don't understand why people are so uneducated about Kessel's position with Pens, he has never played on the same line with Crosby, rarely play with Malkin, and that 6.8 million dollars is a great value contract (you obviously hasn't watched enough Pens games)

So kessel doesn't play on the power play? Why didn't you actually answer my post? Florida will not trade Trochek. Kessel isn't worth Trochek straight up anyway. Let alone with a high second and a decent defenseman.

Absolutely correct, Pittsburgh would have to make a ridiculous overpayment to have Tallon even consider trading Trocheck and even then he probably doesn’t do it.

Kessel played with malkin for most of the regular season this year. And the rumors started because he was supposedly mad he didn't play in the playoffs with him.
