CBJ Trade?

Description
CBJ gets another center and Hawks add to their defense with this trade. I feel the value is close, hawks might have to add a slight amount. But by no means is this off base, I think Anisimov is undervalued because he didn't put up a ton of points but he has scored 20 goals the past 3 years is great as a net front presence and is pretty good on the PK, he has also played with Torts so he knows what to expect. The hawks just do not need him since they got Ejdsell. I think the trade Addresses what both teams need and want.

Ryan Murray seems as if he is the odd man out in Columbus(that might be an outsider looking in perspective) but on the Hawks he would most likely get consistent Top 4 ice time. And adding Jenner to the mix would help give the hawks a more consistent 3rd line, and in the event we need a different 3C he could at the very least fill in there. By trading away these players though Columbus makes sure they have more cap space for when they need to sign Bob, Panarin and Werenski next year.

Overall, the trade address both teams needs and is realistic, as the Hawks are not gonna sign Tavares and after one bad year they are not gonna trade Saad for nothing.

Thoughts? Is it fair?

    I rather like this team...

I'm not sure CBJ gives up Ryan Murray for that, or at all. Would need a more enticing offer, I think. But I definitely have man-wood for Boone Jenner... He may cost more than that, like 3.5-3.75 though.

You'll have to pay The Duke more than that, and Vinnie shouldn't get a contract over 1.15-1.25.

I also wonder if we should positionally swap out Vinnie for Dylan Sikura, give him a chance on the top line and see what he can do.

Good team, they're back in cap hell though. I guess deal with it next year?

Probably, not as bad as in years past though, I would assume the cap would go up higher again next year, not as big a jump as this year is supposed to be. But I think long term they could be worse.

Plus, you'd be losing Rutta's 2.3 after this year, and I think the only RFA that would need a contract for next year would be Schmaltz, and he's due an increase for sure, but how much remains to be seen after this season. Actually Sikura too, I guess, but he hasn't proven much of anything so I am not really concerned there.
