    Not terrible but two things.
    1) Eric Staal is more than likely not going to resign if Marc is traded, nor should the rangers try to retain him.
    2) Pavel Buchnevich should be on that 3rd line. Too talented to be a 4th liner, would hurt his development, gotta let him play like panarin/tarasenko when they came into the league.

Regarding Buchnevich. In the KHL he has 8 goals, 8 assists this season. Will he really be NHL ready? It's nice to pencil guys on ELCs on your team, especially a cap strapped team, but you never if there really is a spot for them at least in October. Regarding Eric Staal. Imagine if he signs with the Rangers and gets a NTC. The Rangers can almost send in their protected list for the expansion draft now. The Rangers aren't the only team with this issue though.

8 Goals and 8 assists on his NEW team. He got dealt by his old team where he had 29 points in 40 games. Also consider the fact that Buchnevich doesn't get much ice time with his current team, so I don't think stat-watching for how good he's done in the KHL is very wise.

As to your comment Jeff, I did put Buchnevich on the 3rd line, there's just some random glitch on here where it moves the players, I don't know.
