    Giving up Lindholm for Grubs is a tough pill to swallow. I think they would do it for just picks or picks + a prospect (like Saarela). Lindy has established himself as a reliable 2 way center and is only 23. I'd love to get Grubs but Lindy is not the problem on this team imo.

    I'm not sure WSH would have interest in Lindholm. They have Backstrom, Kuzy, and Eller locked up for multiple years.

    Yeah, they might give up Grubs for just a pick. That'd be great. But I think to fill primary needs at goalie or center we will have to make some painful decisions around players who other teams want. Lindholm is a nice complimentary 2 way player, and could thrive with talented line-mates. At the same time, he's someone I could part with if Canes fill a more urgent need. I don't think he's ever going to be a goal scorer. I am worried about overpaying him in this next contract when someone like Necas might fill the same role on a better contract.
