doesn't really address the sens needs at all. McCabe is an alright player, but the sens are looking for a 1st + a good prospect/young player and maybe another pick depending on the player.

Sheary won't be sold off for peanuts unless the Pens are clearing salary for a big offseason move. Upgrade the prospect or swap in Girgensons, or bump the 4th up to a future 3rd and you're in business.

I know Girgensons has been a bust for his draft position, but he'd be an ideal depth piece even if his game only slightly improves. Pittsburgh has no room for Baptiste as it is, and there's no way he's good enough to push any of our right wingers out of the lineup. I'd take a chance on a rehab project before adding a prospect we have zero need for.
