Why retain salary on Elliott? Is that what is getting the 3rd round pick?

It is likely a slight overpay but if that is what it takes to get Wahlstrom then so be it!

Thompson should be the center. He's 20. Let him play his natural position and see if it works before moving him. No reason to have Spezza blocking him.
