Has that team better shot of being good longerterm if they get opportunity to young guys in their system and eventually retool this team which is kinda needed?

First, Eaves is playing this season. Second, no need for Brodziak when you can resign grant for cheaper. And third the ducks bigger needs even with Kesler out is a top 6 scoring winger and I would argue a D to play with fowler.
