If Thompson is our 2C going into the year I'll be very unhappy. Hoffman value is great for us, idk how Sens fans will feel. I think De Haan gets less money than that. Allen might fetch a late first.

Why do ACGMs throw in random 3rds or 5ths into all these trades. Fabbri, Barbashev and the first is fine for Hoffman. Fabbri is risky, if he gets hurt again or just sucks from missing a year and a half of professional hockey, you end up with a late 1st and a bottom 6C for Hoffman. If Fabbri continues where he left off, then it could be a steal for OTT

That's why there is probably a conditional pick involved. But the trade looks pretty good from this sens fan's perspective. I'd probably try to push for Schmaltz instead of Barbashev, just cause I'd rather a Dman in addition to Fabbri. I'm sure Ottawa would throw in Wideman's UFA rights for free so you have a week to sign him (he'd be less than 1.5 million and he's from St. Louis) as it doesn't look like we'll sign him

Just wondering if you forgot Eddy? I think the Sens trade is fine from our perspective. If they'd rather have Schmaltz than Barbie then I would for sure switch them. I think my main problem with this is that it doesn't have us addressing the 2 biggest needs in my opinion, which are #2 right wing and #1/2 center. I think Kyrou will be good, but I don't know if he is #2 rw ready. Tage as the 2c doesn't sound good to me. The trades are all something that I would be okay with.

Blues don’t need to sign 2 LHD’s because of Edmundson. Soshnikov is rumored to be going to the KHL. The Blues would never go into the season with Hutton as their starter.

If you want Schmaltz instead Blues would be willing to make it happen.

If you are fine with Steen at 2LW, then Hoff will play RW. He has played it in the past and I actually preferred him on the right wing for his one-timer. Also, I have the feeling Thomas steals the 2C spot this year quite easily unless you land Tavares.
