I think Carlson signs similar to OEL's rumored 8x8m extension. Teams will have to offer 7x9 to come close to matching that. I think he stays and gets another $64m from the Caps.

I know DSP has had a great playoff, but I'd keep Connolly over DSP. Connolly has more offensive upside, speed, shooting ability, can catch a pass on the fly and can handle a puck. DSP was continually loosing the puck battles.
