Description
Which of these prospects would get it done in a Jeff Skinner Trade that included the 16th overall pick. I left out the prospects I don’t think Sakic will listen on.
Trades
CAR
  1. Compher, J.T.
  2. Greer, AJ
  3. Kamenev, Vladislav
  4. Meloche, Nicolas
  5. Shvyryov, Igor

Additional Details:
Will any one of these guys be enough to get Skinner? If so, which guy(s)? The order they appear is my personal ranking of their value to the Avs.

JT Compher, Vladislav Kamenev, and Conor Timmins all have some appeal

I would prefer Shane Bowers and COL 2108 first for Skinner

on a side note, can we have Ottawa's 2019 first, PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE Heart Eyes
(something tells me this is gonna be valuable)

I would be okay with Compher or Kamenev. Not sure about Bowers. He had a really good freshman season at BU and is looking like he’ll be a solid middle six center. I don’t think Timmins is someone Sakic would consider giving up for Skinner. He’s likely their #2 prospect behind Makar. I would say Bowers is #3.
That 2019 Ottawa pick could be absolute gold for Colorado. Consider the fact that for Matt Duchene they got a 19 year-old top-4 D in Girard, a really solid forward prospect in Bowers, another good forward prospect with Kamenev, a 2nd, a 3rd, and on top of all that they also snag what’s looking like a lottery pick next year. What a heist by Sakic.

Yeah i would still take anyone of those 3 with that pick

Joel Farabee, Bode Wilde, Barrett Hayton could slip to 16 or it gives us the option to trade up if we want

if your pick was in the mid to late 20's i would be more hesitant but 16 is a nice spot

Bowers and the 2018 1st I think would get that done all day. I was thinking it would probably take Kerfoot.

I agree it would probably take Kerfoot. I certainly wouldn't send Timmins or the OTT 2019 1st. Beyond that I wouldn't object particularly to any of those listed being used though I think Meloche is the most expendable from the Avs point of view. Skinner always worries me as a target though. The concussion issues he's had could come back to haunt him unfortunately. I believe he played some with Landeskog though so there could be some instant chemistry. Risky trade though.
