I think short term loyalty going to run McPhee into salary cap hell with Neal and Perron neither one going to be in top 6 in year 3 of any deal but won’t really matter as long as there is a cup win before then I think they should go back to last summer theory on them and attempt to get shorter term and or trade them as rentals at deadline instead of unmovable contracts but gms love those large numbers just as much as the players do putting a face on franchise and passing some of the blame if failure all and all nice build

There is a lot I disagree with here

Sbisa 1ooked bad in the playoff's especially in Wash series, not worth bring back (especially at this price)

Essentially you gave up Lindberg, a 2nd and a 5th for Bjorkstrand

Hossa's contract makes no sense giving us cap issues for a 3rd when we already have David Clarkson's cap

    WHERE IS COLLIN MILLER????????????

also on a lesser note I think you should resign Carrier, he looked good for a cheap 4th liner

Hawks don't need Carpenter and aren't going to pay someone to take on Hossa when we can LITR his cap hit for 95% of it. He's a benefit to those teams wanting to reach the cap floor at only a salary of $1M but a $5.2M cap hit.
