Why does everyone see Arizona as camp dump paradise? Doesn’t make sense for Arizona to acquire a retired player for a valuable pick in their rebuild.

Wilson is a very solid, middle 6, **** disturber and playoff performer for Washington that they should never let go. He’s not gonna cost that much cause let’s be honest he isn’t amazing offensively or defensively but still has a key role on the Capitals. In terms of value that may be there about.

Arizona needs help to reach the cap floor, but Hossa's actual salary is only 1 million. Its actually a gift to a small market team like them, rather than a burden that most people assume cap hits are.

Wilson scored 15 points in the post season, is a mean muggin SOB, and plays to PK minutes. He is undoubtedly worth the money he will get here.

Caps can easily keep Carlson and Wilson. Burakovsky might need to go in 2019, but Willy is not going anywhere. Caps need him a lot more than people realise. He makes plays and provides physicality and kills penalties. No thx.
