Description
I'm trying to figure out a way to get Panarin to MN without trading Granlund. I know, there's no chance Panarin is leaving Columbus, but this is just for fun and I'm curious about if the value is fair. Earlier I was told I would have to add more, so here it is.

Columbus makes a haul in getting some very skilled wingers (which according to The Athletic, is an area of need) and an excellent defenseman. Nino had a down year but expect him to bounce back and score close to if not over 30 goals next season. Zucker put up 30 goals this past season and I think he will be very close to that production this season. Columbus already has Jones but Spurgeon really solidifies their blue line, he can contribute both offensively and defensively playing both the PP and PK.

That’s a lot to give up but I like it and I think Columbus would accept that.

Thanks! Yeah it is a lot to give up, both sides are getting some nice pieces though. I think the Wild would be in a pretty bad situation cap-wise with Parise, Suter, and Panarin all over 7 million annually but Panarin is a hell of a player. Also I wasn't sure on how much Panarin would get with an extension, looking at players that put up similar numbers he'd probably be around 8 million.

As a MN fan I feel like were robbing them unless bread absolutely says he will not resign with them. Even so they get two wings back they dont necessarily need and zero top picks or prospects. Id be thrilled but this feels off, and his extension feels about 3M low per year.

Well as I said in my description, The Athletic mentions their team needs as skilled wingers, so that is what I traded to them. And I also wasn't sure on a price for contract, but it will definitely be over 8 million annually. What feels off about it? They get two 60 point wingers, an upgrade on defense, the first pick in the 3rd round, and a later 3rd round pick. That's a very good haul for Columbus. I also said in my description that this isn't realistic, it was just for fun
