Description
Tavares sees the trade for Panarin and wants to play between him and Vladdy. With Gunnarson/Bortuzzo/Thorburn gone next year, we have money to resign Panarin.
In two years, we will likely have to trade the last year of Steen or Allen's contracts to sign Petro and Schenn (plus raises to Thompson/Dunn)

I love Mark Stone but don't think Sens would part with him. They've pretty much said he's off the table. Simmonds could be a cheaper option to play with former teammate Brayden Schenn and Schwartz

Though I don't doubt that the Sens don't want to part with Mark Stone, with the **** show in OTT and no hope in sight, he may elect to either go to arbitration for a 1-2 year deal and get to UFA so he can get out of there sooner. Duchene and Karlsson could very well both be next on their way out in OTT so why would he want to stay on a rebuilding team? Sorry more like "complete tear down" instead of rebuilding...
