I would never trade Erik Karlsson, but with all that has gone on, he may very well want out - a fresh start, and who could blame him.

It will be a long tough year, but we will get a good pick at the end of it, and hopefully do better in the lottery.

Gaborik will likely be bought out the following year when there is much less money left on the deal, or go on LTIR, either way it is the end of the bad contracts.

The young guys get a real chance to proove themselves. And the coach gets one more chance to proove he can adjust to different styles, with younger players.

Hopefully Stone agrees to stay and be part of the solution. De Haan signs to play back home, "cause what other UFA is going to want to come here. And Duchene sees enough potential in this group to also sign long term and play close to home.

And I hope and pray that Mellnyk sells after he gets the expansion money from Seattle, but as long as he owns the team, I won't buy another ticket except for when Erik comes back to town - to say thanks.
