June 20 - Trades w/ MIN, CHI

Created by: DirtyDangles
Team: 2018-19 Philadelphia Flyers
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 20, 2018
Published: Jun. 20, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Obviously goalie is still a major concern but lets see what Lyon or Stolarz or Hart can do in a limited role as backup or starter if Neuvy goes down.

One of Myers or Bouchard makes the team in 18/19 and we move Gudas at TDL.

I like the coyle deal and love seeing your comments on here.... lots of good insight

why bring in two centers?

would you ever consider taking on Lucic's contract?

say Simmonds for Lucic and EDM 1st this season?

Coyle mostly plays RW but if one of our guys goes down to injury can slot into the 3C spot. Nice to have a guy with that versatility. As for Lucic, I don't think we can take him on unless we want to post him in the pressbox or on the 4th line. I think bringing him in just blocks a roster spot for one of the kids. His contract is just too long.

Simmonds won't be dealt. Minnesota would likely be on Simmonds 12 team no trade list anyway. Probably for the better. 2 years of Coyle's 11 goals in 66 games for 3.2 million and a 2nd round pick isn't a great amount of value.

And you're giving up too much and taking on Anisimov for too many years to move up 6 slots. Hextall would prefer 2 quality prospects to one. He also wouldn't want to block roster spots for young players.
