Nope. If I'm Dallas, I'd much rather hold on to one of the best two-way guys in the league (Faksa) and my 1st round pick than trade them away for 1-year of Panarin. The kid is good, don't get me wrong, but the Stars have 3+ years of control left on Faksa, they'll have potentiall 6 years of control on their 1st round pick (Veleno, Hayton, Kotkaniemi, Kupari, etc.), and they have 5 years of control on Gurianov. No way do I trade all of that away for 1-year of Panarin. Just adding Panarin isn't going to bring a Cup to Dallas and when he leaves following next season, Dallas loses Faksa, Gurianov, and a 1st for nothing. Value might be right, but this would be a terrible idea for Dallas. They do need to address their top-6 issues, but those can easily be addressed via free agency and it's not going to cost 3 huge pieces either.

Fair enough but quality always wins versus quantity. Third line centers can be had easier than ppg forwards. I understand alot of this rests on a resign. That said Faksa, who likely may score 50 once or twice in his career, a possible 2c center prospect and a toss in is well worth Panarin. Cap will tricky over the next year or two but is totally manageable until Heiskanen and Kling hit their next contracts.
