MTL i dont think thatll be a 1 for 1, BUF could get a pick or something back (nothing more than a 2nd). and i think Reinhart would sign for a bit more than that, maybe 5 mill. other than that looks good

No way in hell they’d move ROR for Patches in a 1 for 1. Also not a fan of that philly trade, two good prospects and a good pick for another aging winger with one year left. Neither of those players I’d be interest in retaining for the money and term they’d want

oh my hell no to both trades why are you trading for guys weve already seen the best of. these are aging wingers with one year left on their contracts. absolutely horrible

If Reinhart wanted more money he should have produced more and played more consistent over the first 2.5 years. ROR is worth much more than Patches and a 2nd

You have to surround young talented players with actual skilled players. Casey will never be able to develop as a center playing with the type of players they have now. Buffalo needs to bring some veteran talent for the youngsters on this team.

Why give up assets when free agency is filled with talented vets, that only cost money to bring in. The money they have to spend on Patches or Simmonds, I would rather put that towards a young and more productive JvR, and then they keep their top 6 2 way center (which if you want to then, flip him for another need) and 2 very good prospects.
