Wht sign any of those guys? Blues have a team of overpaid role players don't need more of them. Trade is not even close. Star player for slugs and bad draft picks

Maybe Im not spot on but I can definitely see army doing something like this. He has money to spend but spends it on a ton of 2/3 line guys. Trade for panarin might need a little more but probably not far too off in my opinion.

St Louis has to overpay usually old guys to get big name players to come to st louis. St Louis had their chance in the late 00s when they traded everyone for draft picks. Unfortunately, they draft terrible. 04,05,06 they could of drafted a great team but instead 3/4 of their draft picks never played in the nhl. Those same guys are still in the blues management doing the same thing.

I'm shocked all you guys think STL needs to give up more. I think that's over payment as it is, especially when Panarin said he won't commit to signing a long term deal and that he wants to test the FA market next year. If STL were to take the chance on him and hope to re-sign him I think CBJ would be lucky to get Fabbri, Thompson and a 1st. I still think this would be over payment because you're banking on Panarin to like STL and re-sign. If not, you gave away all that for a 1 year rental.

I think the not reason he would consider an extension with STL is because Tarasenko is there. I think he would extend to the same year that Vladdy contract is up if it came down to it.
