Decent trades, but I think hawks take zadina or tkachuk at 3 and I think MTL would want 8OA instead of duclair+27 so they can take kotkaniemi. Unless you're saying these trades happen after the draft, in which case I doubt the habs trade kotkaniemi if they reach for him big time at 3

Also no reason to dump murphy if you dont use his cap space. hawks can use all the help they can get at the blueline and hes better than gus or forsling at this point

It was a mistake from something I was messing with. Deleted Jesperi

Hawks can't keep both Rutta and Murphy, especially with Jokiharju coming up...these are right handed guys not left. Gus has pretty darn good potential.

That's a 3rd round pick for 2019 to the Hawks not MTL's #3 pick this year.

Yeah, was originally trading up the #27 to NYI's #11 pick but that backed that out and forgot to delete Jesperi

Looking like Patches is going to end up in LA, but who knows... We'll see tomorrow... But that's a lot to give up for him, and I would rather have Saad on what I expect to be a rebound year than Patches. Never cared for him anyway. I think Saad & JvR would be better, more interchangeable LW options for 19 & 88, depending on how chemistry all shakes out.

Wahlstrom is a damned good pick, but I'm gonna go ahead and pray that somehow... Some way... Quinn Hughes falls to #8. I saw two pro mock drafts today where he did... Ya never know...

I think I've said this on everyone's post by now, but I really don't want to give up on Connor Murphy yet. There's more there, and I think he'll be better this season. Can we send Jan Rutta anywhere instead? Outside of him, I do love that D group...

Also, can we fire Jurco out of a cannon and get Kahun in there instead?

Sorry but no to all of this........

Duclair is done as a Hawk, he's not even worth $1,200,000 and that's what it would take to qualify him let alone give him a raise......Hawks should trade is RFA rights to whomever wants them....

Heck, trade Duclair's RFA rights to Carolina for Trevor van Riemsdyk's RFA rights, besides Trevor would be cheaper anyway and far more useful to the Hawks than Anthony "I cant finish" Duclair..

No way would I trade Saad for Patches, let alone including pick 27 in the deal unless Montreal is sending the 3rd overall pick back to Chicago in the deal..... Saad is SUPERIOR to Patches as it is - not to mention Saad is like 5 years younger to boot..

No, no, no on all of this.....

I gotta stop reading this stuff before I have a stroke.

CAR says no because their target is Saad.
