I feel like Tierney might require more, but Hertl would be getting a pretty good pay increase considering his knee issues. I think he has more to prove before he makes Couture/Kane money.

Indeed Hertl will want closer to 5-5.5. Tierney will require at least 2 (he had a 40 pt season and was excellent on the PK...) and I cannot see jumbo taking less than 2. I mean, he could get 5 on the open market, so offering him 1 is not reasonable.

Also zero chance I can see of Fehr coming back. The sharks have 5-10 young forwards ready to complete for a spot. Suomela looks like a legit possibility! Balcers is an AHL all star. Gambrell will also compete for a spot. Dougie will purposely keep 2-3 spots open for whoever wins the competing in training camp. No need to add an over the hill vet at this stage. They are also easy to find at the deadline.

Personally, I want dougie to sell high on dell. 2M for a backup goalie is alot. I would love to trade him to the Isles (or a team that's desperate for a goalie). With Grubauer unavailable, those teams will get more desperate.
