Anything under $10 million for Tavares just isn't going to happen, but this team could be very,very good if it could make the money work. If they couldn't find a way to make it work this upcoming season, though, I feel as though there would be a great deal of cap stress over the next 3-4 years that would lag/halter the on-the-fly rebuild model that most good teams are able to follow that allow them to maintain year after year performance.

I am a Sharks fan and this is the worst proposal I have ever seen in terms of player salaries. No way Thornton takes $1 mil when they have almost $5 mil left in cap space. No way Tavares take anything less than $11 mil either.
