Description

NYR - Zibanejad newly rumored to be potential trade bait. So CAR and NYR make a rare intra-divisional, player for player trade (top six center for top four RHD). CAR includes a young center prospect in the deal.

STL - CAR trades an elite multiple 30-goal scorer, that just turned 26, to STL for the standard return of a 1Rd pick, player, and prospect.

MTL - CAR gives MTL a top six center to stabilize there roster. There was a rumored deal at the draft but they find a way to get it done. CAR gets a offensive LHD and gritty vet LHD to round out their blue line.

I really don’t see the blues giving up 2 prospects with one being arguably their best prospect and a first for Skinner. Especially having no extension in place.

Kyrou is a top 10 league wide prospect. Maybe Kyrou and a lesser prospect, or a mid to late pick, even if Skinner has a deal in place.
