Bozak current AAV is 4.2 mill, you would have to dish out a lot more cash then 3.33. And trading mason is gonna be impossible with his contract. But the perrault trade makes sense.

Mason isn't worth that. I don't mind the Bozak signing but it really doesn't solve any of the long term cap issues that the Jets might have. Wouldn't the Canadiens (and Bozak) be better signing Bozak at 4.1m for a centre they need and then they wouldn't have to give up any picks in a trade.

you have so many centers in Manitoba. Why have a $5,3M guy on 3rd line, keep Little in top6. Laine, Connor, Wheeler will need contracts soon so Bozak won't be signed
