That Anaheim trade is very good. I dont think Nylander gets traded but I like that you give Anaheim back some defender they can use. And dont take Larsson back, we have ton of LHDs in the organization. Get a forward from them. Otherwise very good trade.

I'm not sure they trade him either but if they get Tavares i dont think they can afford Matthews, Marner and Nylander. I think Nylander will be the first of those 3 to be moved if they had to. I agree they have a ton of LHD's but Gardiner and Hainsey will be off the books, but even then their left side would be something like Rielly, Dermott, Rosen/Borgman. So if you leave Larsson out of that trade who do you think they could get back for a forward? I would think they'd be looking at a young player/ prospect someone like Nick Ritchie, Max Jones, Sam Steel, Troy Terry, Maxime Comtois. All very good prospects for the Ducks but if Larsson isn't a part of the deal you'd have to think the Leafs would be after one of those young players.
